WHAT ARE YOUR CREDENTIALS AND WORK EXPERIENCE?
I earned my Doctor of Psychology degree in 2001 from School of Professional Psychology, Wright State University.  I completed my BA degree in Psychology at the University of California at Berkeley.  I've a staff psychologist at Cornell University and University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for over 9 years combined.  I've also worked for many years in private practice with various presenting issues/diagnoses.  I am licensed with the state of California (license# 22196) and am a member of the Los Angeles County Psychologist Association.
DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN WORKING WITH CERTAIN POPULATIONS?
At Cornell and UCLA, I worked with hundreds of clients whose primary concerns are related to their racial/ethnic minority identity and sexual orientation/ gender concerns. Â I believe it is imperative to normalize and empower clients from the basis of their identity, culture, and worldviews.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
I'm more than happy to discuss my rate (per 45-50 minute sessions) with you over the phone or email before your first visit. I do accept a sliding scale for clients with special needs including undergraduate and graduate students. I accept Anthem health insurance plan.
